Hollow Fiber Column

For laboratory or pilot-scale applications, the basic manual control system consists of a pump, a feed port, a permeate collection tank, pressure gauges and valves. The system is connected with properly sized tubing and fittings. Some hollow fiber modules from Shanghai Muyan contain glycerin to protect the membrane structure, while some membrane columns are stored in 20% ethanol for moisture retention. The preservation solution must be drained and thoroughly flushed before use.
