Sizing Agent Oil Tank

The sizing agent oil tank is a yarn-guiding and oil-immersing component used in the glass fiber oiling process, whose core function is to ensure that the yarn evenly adheres to the coating oil (such as sizing agent).

Excellent Material Compatibility

It is made of glass fiber bakelite, with wear-resistant magnetic rods installed at the tank bottom. Featuring moderate hardness and a smooth surface, it neither scratches glass fiber monofilaments nor causes waste due to excessive oil adsorption. Meanwhile, the buffering property of the wooden material reduces the impact wear on high-speed running yarns.

Precise Structural Design

The grooves (yarn guide grooves) on the surface of the oil tank are matched with yarn specifications (diameter and tow width), which can stably guide the yarn movement, ensure the yarn fully adheres to the oil coating layer inside the tank, and achieve uniform oil immersion. The arc/depth of the grooves has been optimized to avoid yarn tangling and deviation.

High Practicality

It has a simple structure and is easy to clean and maintain. The wooden components are lightweight, facilitating quick disassembly, assembly and replacement on the oiling device. In addition, the wood boasts excellent thermal insulation, which can reduce the impact of ambient temperature on the viscosity of the coating oil (such as sizing agent) and ensure a stable oil immersion effect.
