System Composition of the Sizing Agent Spraying Assembly

The sizing agent is delivered to the nozzle by the high-pressure pump, atomized into droplets with a diameter of 5–20 μm, and then sprayed onto the high-speed running yarn. Excess mist droplets are collected by the recovery tank.

A single atomizing nozzle can cover 5–10 parallel yarns, and one spraying unit can support the synchronous production of 20–30 yarns.It is suitable for large-scale roving production lines (such as direct yarn and spraying yarn), with a productivity 5–10 times that of a titration system.
By adjusting the nozzle pressure (0.2–0.5 MPa), spray angle (30°–90°) and the distance between yarns and the nozzle (5–15 cm), it can quickly adapt to yarns of different specifications (such as heavy denier yarns with filament diameter of 13–24 μm), and even realize layered spraying of different sizing agents.
The atomization effect is easily affected by workshop wind speed (distribution is affected at ≥0.5 m/s) and temperature (droplet viscosity changes when temperature difference exceeds 5 ℃), which may lead to a deviation in yarn oiling uniformity of up to 3%–5%.In addition, about 10%–15% of mist droplets will drift, so a supporting mist collection device is required to avoid waste and pollution.
